We spent four days in February in Rome. This was an amazing trip. We spent the first day getting from the airport to the International Palace (our home for the next 3 days). We took a quick look around just to get our bearings. Ideas of applying for the next Amazing Race were being formed......y two pro trip to Vatican City (per Rich’s request) yeah I know a shocker. Thanks to “Angels & Demons” he wanted to take a look inside the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Square.
Even though the rain was with us for the entire day, we ended up enjoying the view of the Basilica.
Day three led us to Foro Romano, the Colosseo, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. By far this was my favorite day of the trip. The weather really cooperated with us. The walk through Foro Romano was amazing.
Day four- Our day of departure. After checking out of the International Palace it was time to race around the rest of Rome. On the agenda the church Santa Maria de Popolo (Angels and Demons again) and Santa Maria fountains.
