At the end of June this year we were very lucky to get an opportunity to visit Los Cabos, Mexico. Now I knew that it was going to be hot, but I could never have prepared for that kind of heat. We spent five days relaxing by the pool, by the Sea of Cortez and with our friends.
You may ask- What brought you to Los Cabos? Well, the wedding ceremony of Melanie Castro and Albert Rojas! Below: me and the Bride to be!
Here’s Rich and I enjoying a quick cuddle inbetween courses. The rehearsal dinner was awesome- great food, great friends- what more could you ask for!
The wedding day brought a beautiful ceremony right at sunset. Los Cabos is a great place for a destination wedding- the scenery is amazing, the weather is nice and the resort was phenomenal. The reception brought us the introduction to salsa. Although the bride and groom were well seasoned in this style of dance- some of us others were not- below Mel trying to teach me to salsa-- Goodness!!
Our last day in Los Cabos was a day trip to Cabo San Lucas more specifically Lover’s Beach. The boat ride there was amazing. Seeing the Pacific Ocean this closely was amazing. Of course unbeknownst to the group- getting to Lover’s Beach entailed jumping off of the boat and running onto the beach. The most interesting part was that you had to match up your jump with the waves. Unfortunately for Rich, instead of jumping he fell- back first into the Sea with our brand new digital camera. All ended well- the rest of the group got onto the beach safely and enjoyed our two-hour stay.
