Rich and I spent a nice weekend in Clear Point, Alabama. We were there to celebrate the union of Franco Zellner (Rich’s bud from HSC) and Ally Ard. While in Alabama, we spent an afternoon in Mobile touring a battleship and having lunch with friends.
Our Plane Flight: Most of the time when people fly there really is no good story about the trip. Well, this might be our best story yet!! Rich and I left Washington and arrived in Atlanta on time. Unfortunately, we left Atlanta late (plane delays- mechanical problems and they had to switch our gate). Finally we get on the plane and are charged up for our short flight into Mobile. About halfway through the crew gets on the microphone and states that we will have to make an emergency landing in Montgomery- we have GOATS on the plane and they are in diress. Oh heavens- who thought that you would have GOATS on an airplane!! After stopping in Montgomery and unloading the goats (Rich and I were sitting on the opposite side of the plane so no pictures of goats for us) we were on our way to Mobile. The rest of the flight went well and we arrived into Mobile a lot later than expected.
