January- Liz had her final doctor’s appointment and has fully recovered from the birth of Aidan.
February- The McKenney Family welcomed their third addition, Noah.
March- The Foster Family welcomed their third addition, Daisy. We ventured out into London with Aidan- his first trip on a train- to get Aidan’s passport and register his birth.
April- Rich turned 30 and my sister, Kristen married Sean Sudol. It was a wonderful ceremony on the Chesapeake Bay. Everyone had a blast at the reception! Aidan also had his first transatlantic flight- he did a great job!
May- The Miller Family welcomed their second addition, Jillian. Liz turned 30 on the same day as celebrating her first Mother’s Day. Aidan visited some friends (the Perreaults) and enjoyed some time in their wonderful pool. Aidan loves the water. We returned back to England on a Business class flight- thanks to Rich for that upgrade- that saved us and Aidan loved getting the extra attention. Aunt Jenn graduated college!
June- This was Aidan and my last month in England- we returned home early to spend time with my family since my dad had open heart surgery at the end of the month.
July- The Honeycutt Family welcomed their third addition, Laura and the McLaughlin Family welcomed their first child, Jase. Aunt Jenn turned 22.
August- Aidan and I attended the 4 H fair- due to the heat Aidan missed the hayride, but enjoyed looking at the animals and all of the kids.
September- Aidan started daycare and Liz went back to work. Aidan also caught his first cold- Liz took him down to Grandma and Grandpa Berlin for some extra loving care.
October- Aunt Kristen turned 27, Rich and Liz celebrated 5 years of marriage. My mom and I ventured to Florida since my grandfather was hospitalized. Aidan went trick-or-treating with some friends, Jase McLaughlin and Jase Colangelo.
November- The Hughes Family welcomed their second addition, Grace. Grandpa Cockrill turned 56, Dusty McLaughlin turned 35 and Aidan turned 1! We had a great party for the little guy- he got a ton of presents and loved playing with the kids. Kristen and Sean hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
December- Our first family portrait was taken. We held a Christmas celebration with the Berlins and Cockrills at our house. It was great to spend time with both families.
